After the lightening nock is made on, it nock cannot be deactivated for some seconds. As it has an electronic device (gadget) the logic inside the circuit board, protects it against the jolt that comes after the arrow hits with an impact to the bone of an animal or ground or any wooden plane. Now don't get stunned when I say that lightening nock turns ON automatically as soon as an arrow is fired. No hassle, no button pushing is required. Lightening nock is very easy to mount; or rather I would put it that it is user friendly. You wouldn't require battery stopper, or glue or heat or any other device.

Don't give me that lightening nock must be having an awesome weight. Nope. It miraculously has lightweight. Ideally weight of lightening nock varies from 22 grains to 32 grain.

Lightening nock does not carry any projecting metallic parts, which can damage the shaft. In total it is shockproof as well as knock-proof in its design. Adding to this the design is weather proof too.

When you shoot an arrow it spins and hits the target. Lightening nock is a designed to balance off this spin and remains intact. An ideal lightening nock is made of high quality polycarbonate nock.
